I never paid the £200 but they found the box 3 months later took the £200 off my bill and credited £200 to my account. GOOD RIDDENS I say.I returned my box to them they billed me £200 as they never received it. Especially as I am using it for catch up. They said it was free, so I will bloody well keep it.
I use it for internet only now as I don't watch television, just via catch up. I told them to back off as I had been in hospital. Because they were "monitoring" my usage and because I had been in hospital I had not used it, so they said " we notice you are not using your youview box, if you are not using it please send it back to us".

If they gave you the box for free then why not either keep it or sell it on ebay? Why do they want it back? Its a con and they are coming to collect it by sending me a prepaid package envelope. Talking Pictures TV - An archive film & TV channel. I mean, what if I watched TV once a month, would they loom up and ask for it back then? Good grief. I got so fed up with them saying send it back as you are not using it, like BIG BROTHER was watching me. I told them I was but only for internet and that they did not say there was "criteria" for warranting this FREE youview box. They did not like that and told me to send it back if I wasn't using it. Recorders that feature a built-in Freeview tuner are labelled Freeview+. Currently, it offers over 70 television channels, 15 HD channels, 26 radio channels, some streamed channels, and an interactive one. I set it up, only wanting to watch catchup tv via the internet as I don't watch television via an aerial. Launched nearly 20 years ago, Freeview is now a popular digital terrestrial TV platform.
